A thousand strong
Our goal is to always be a reliable OEM manufacturer for hobby products in the quest to maximize product value for customers. It is this dream that has driven us to constantly refine the quality of our creations.
Thousand will always aim to exceed the strength of hundreds and emulate a "thousand-strong company."
Our start in the figure business
Driven by a desire to serve clients through product creation, I've worked with numerous Chinese manufacturing plants since my twenties. Among my projects, mass figure production was particularly frequent, and I naturally developed expertise in molds and the ability to manage the production of large quantities of products. At the time, I believe few Japanese people in the industry actually understood the practical manufacturing processes for figures.
Since our founding, we've continuously challenged ourselves to become a company capable of consistently supplying high-end products of exceptional quality to the market. While figure products are diverse today, few figure brands existed when we first launched. However, the market's latent demand for figure products was strong, and our product lineup gradually expanded. It wasn't uncommon for us to work all-nighters developing products alongside factories that shared our vision. Through these collaborations, infrastructure and talent increased on both the Japanese and Chinese sides of our operations, leading to our current ability to supply the market with a wide range of products.
Subsequently, as manufacturing infrastructure and human resources developed due to rapidly increased trade between Japan and China, various kinds of figures have come to infuse the current market.
People are the most important
Figures are still products that require significant manual labor. Without prototypes, neither we nor the plant can create molds, making production impossible.
I believe the passion of everyone involved, starting with the Prototype Creator, improves the product. These highly devoted people are what is most important.
We think of all employees who have joined us as partners who share our vision, and we strive to create a comfortable working environment and implement various programs every year.
Independence and Self-Discipline
Independence and self-discipline serve as our company's guiding principles. This is a motto embodying my own journey that we adopted for the company when we began bringing in many new employees. While it may not be trendy these days, since we're working together, I want everyone to strive to be self-sufficient professionals who embody our corporate philosophy. This requires dedicating time to tackle personal challenges. Humans tend to gravitate toward the path of least resistance, but I believe it's also necessary to discipline oneself, endure hardships, and work hard at times. I also think there should be periods when you immerse yourself completely in your work.
When every employee grows head and shoulders above the crowd, this directly contributes to our company's growth.
The manufacturing industry is a deeply rewarding field where problem-solving skills are put to the test. And like other fields, figures also must go through the correct process, or the results will not yield a quality product. To make it even more difficult, the plant is overseas. If you don't prioritize logical communication, the plant won't function.
Furthermore, upon joining our company, you'll be required to rigorously manage QCD (Quality, Cost, and Delivery). If you maximize this capability through independence and self-discipline, you will be able to anticipate risks. You'll learn to proactively implement measures and offer input even from the design phase. This ability is almost like foreseeing the near future, and we want you to acquire these skills that will serve you well wherever you go.
We are a company that encourages each employee to grow year by year. We also aim for steady annual growth as a company, which is why we want to be a company where people grow.
Let's work together to energize Japan through manufacturing.
